Born on a sunny summer (January) day in Dunedin, New Zealand. Her family consists of her parents, an older brother (Levi), and a younger sister (Serah) and brother (Alec).

Ashe spent intermediate school (Form 1-2) at an international school in Seoul, staying with her grandparents. All while growing up, Ashe took dance and music classes after school, while her parents worked, and eagerly participated in school and community plays.

She wanted to study abroad for university, but it wasn't feasible to go far with Levi also studying (over in Melbourne!). She ended up studying Chemistry at the University of Auckland as her safety net. She'll claim it was because she had friends in the program, but get her talking and she's pretty excited about it.

Ashe set her true sights sky high, as she'd kept acting even through university. Professional training at NYU Tisch was her dream, bigger stages, the lights. . . and she started preparing for her artistic review by her third year at UOA.

She had the chance to study abroad for half of her third year and half of her fourth year at NYU (the NZ school year is offset from the States), still for Chemistry. During that time in the States she participated in as many performing arts programs as she could, worked on her resumé, dated a bit, and of course some friends!

She had her artistic review at NYU Tisch right before returning home and finishing up her last semester in November 2019. She spent a few months back in Dunedin, then moved to NYC mid-year 2020!
